Clean and comfortable beds, nice location.

Be prepared for surprises, we met extremely friendly and courteous staff and a cold one.

Pool access requires a dedicated card from the reception but when you ask they may not have it available even there’s only one family’s using it. Better call before you heading to them.

The people here were awesome. The front desk people were so helpful to my situation. They helped me to find other hotels in the area. But the vibe was so good after leaving to search for cheaper refuge. I returned to stay. Definitely the right choice.

Great location, check in staff was very friendly. Nice, clean rooms. The housekeeper on our floor cheerfully greeted us upon leaving our room and sent us out with a smile.

Had a lovely stay, thank you.

Cosmetically a nice hotel… Visually appealing and it’s greatest asset is its location. That’s pretty much where the goodness ends. Doors are not aligned in the room so I couldn’t close the bathroom door. Check out was 11 and they only allowed a late check out to 1130 with a fee. No functioning restaurant on the premise and had to practically beg for towels in the am. Nice for a quick in and out in the city center but don’t expect perks.

Stayed for two nights in August.

While I understand that COVID is creating a lot of challenges within the hospitality industry, I feel as though Pantages was not forthcoming with their closures. There was no note on the website saying their restaurant/lounge was closed, and room service wasn’t being served. As the rest of the city is currently offering indoor dining, it was surprising to find out there was no food/being offered whatsoever (aside from a drink machine in the business center).

There were no ice machines, and if there was they weren’t clearly marked. Tea and coffee supplies did not include any type of milk or creamer.

King Room itself was beautiful and well appointed, great temperature control, lovely bathroom, lots of space.

Got switched to this hotel from the bond hotel for a stay in Toronto. The rooms were excellent with an amazing view, soft bedding and towels and a rain forest shower. Sadly all the amenities were closed due to covid. Hotel was walkable to food and activities. Definitely would stay here again!

Nice room overlooking the city. Great location to get around downtown. Customer service was really good! The indoor/outdoor pool was clean and warm! Went during covid, and found the staff really attentive and helpful. The woman on the phone who took my reservation couldn’t have been any friendlier and professional.
Take the scenic elevators, my daughters loved it!

DO NOT TRY TO BOOK THIS!!! As other posters have mentioned, this is NOT A HOTEL. It is currently being used as a shelter! Why it’s still listed on hotels.com as a hotel is beyond me. Very frustrating to show up after a long day of traveling only to find out it has been repurposed!!!

I have stayed here since the 1980s, great location, really good breakfasts, they used to have a bar on the lower floor, that served great lunches, Roast Beef was awesome, and the specials changed daily, from a very good Shepherds Pie, to Seafood, used to have a friendly lady that ran the gift shop and sold tour tickets, I had the pleasure to meet the owner of the Hotel, a Mr. Jules Kaufman, in the bar and he asked me for a cigarette, Lol!!! I was surprised to learn, that we could not book there this year as it is now been converted to a shelter. Hopefully the Bond will return when we get back to normal.

Early check in requested and granted even though they are super busy, they got me in. I thank you very much for that. Due to my travel times it was fantastic and I was able to sleep perfectly on the very comfortable bed.

We booked a room with two queen beds and were given a corner room with a pull out couch as well, which was nice. Other than that, I had a few issues: The air conditioner ran too cold, and it was not possible to change the settings. We booked for three people, but they only provided two sets of towels on arrival, and they didn’t come to clean the room once while we were there (3 days). Overall the hotel was a bit run down, but staff was very helpful and friendly.

Came here for a family vacation. Was 19, and was able to drink at the Ramada bar legally, which was exciting for me, as the legal drinking age where I’m from is 21! The location of this Ramada is great, right across the street from a beautiful park! The people in this area are also very kind, and the crime rate in this area is surprisingly low.

Check in was so slow. Hidden fee for parking. $30 for one night. King bed had tiny little baby half pillows. Tv is small and blurry little channel selection. No fridge or closet. Head someone say they had bed bugs last time they stayed. Just feels gross here. Not worth the “savings”. Honestly the motels are a higher level of stay than this hotel. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Stayed here in March. The room was out dated, shabby, and dusty. Shower could have nicer as well. The pool area was absolutely disgusting. Only one working elevator and the other was boarded up with wood and TINY. I was going to take the stairs at one point because my room was at the end off the hallway. I opened the door and GAGGED. It was atrocious and stunk badly of cigarettes. I will definitely not be staying at a Ramada ever again. This is the second stay at one recently and it was appalling.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, across the street from Union Station and a few minutes walk to the Rogers Centre, Air Canada centre and the metro convention center. Basically the heart of the downtown core. The place is immaculate, the Queen of England has stayed here as well as many other high profile celebrities. History is alive and well at the Fairmont as it has been here over 100 years and going strong. Highly recommended for a visit even if you don’t stay the night. Gorgeous and elegant hotel. They go above and beyond for their guests. When I expressed interest in filming locations inside the hotel while having drinks at the Clockwork Bar, the staff brought over the Event Manager on shift, Michael, to give us a private tour. Michael showed us the beautiful and historically significant event spaces (with their rich histories), the smallest bar in Toronto, filming locations of movies and TV shows (that I was able to match with the original scenes – ballrooms, bars, performance venues), private garden (where they make their own honey), and lounge spaces for VIPs on the top floors. He also told us about the history of the hotel, the changes it went through over the years, as well as the key people and visitors. Above all, Michael was a delight to be around – fun to talk to, full of positive energy, and very genuine and thoughtful. His enthusiasm really showed. He gave the tour free of charge, and refused any payment or tip for his time even though we insisted. He was happy to do it. Not only did I learn about and appreciate the hotel so much more, I came away moved with a wonderful impression of the exceptional staff and everything that the hotel had to offer.

This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Canada.

The first time I used this hotel I requested a room with a high floor and a nice view, after they gave me that I came to the room to see it was not cleaned after the previous tenants… they then had to switch me to a lower floor with barely a view. As I left they told me as long as I request the room next time they’ll be sure to accommodate me. Now using the hotel for a Second time I requested the original room and now telling me it’s still not available and instead of a high floor I’m on a middle floor and had nothing at all left for me to use, also this room does not have the same amenities as the other one I requested… They say to make requests to make it easier to accommodate but then can’t do so, I’m definitely not satisfied

4 night stay. Overall very impressed, but there were some small issues.

Issues—
1. Housekeeping is only twice a week or so. We requested it after 2 days in the room without housekeeping, because garbage starts to pile up. They never came. We had to request it again later that night when we came back. I don’t understand why they had to remove daily housekeeping at the price I’m paying for the room (over 300 a night).

2. The eggs in the free breakfast were bland. Yes, hotel eggs are horrible in general but usually you can stomach it every once in a while- not 4 mornings in a row though.

3. One of the three elevators were down.

4. Hot tub was drained.

5. Valet parking only, which fills up at night. Found better self-parking behind the hotel!

6. On-site restaurant was closed. Only thing available was food delivery, and even those guys don’t want to bring it to your door because there’s no parking. I suppose I can’t blame them there; better than nothing!

The good—
1. We got a room with a door separating the bedroom from the living room. Excellent if you’ve got more guests or kids.

2. Tvs in both rooms, with a good selection of channels.

3. Kitchenette with all you need for a few days, utensils included. No food obviously.

4. Quiet rooms, didn’t hear anyone else.

5. Large, spacious rooms, at least the one we got.

6. Pool was nice.

Again, overall we had a very good stay, but they could do better, especially at the premium price they’re charging.

The hotel itself was awesome! We had a great room and the complimentary breakfast was nice in the morning, however, the STAFF WAS TERRIBLE!

We were greeted at the front desk by a lady who almost ruined our entire stay. I gave her my CC for the security deposit and without even telling me where my money was going or what she was doing, she refunded my original payment method and charged it to the CC I gave her. This CC was a business card and wasn’t supposed to have that much money on it. This wouldn’t have occurred if she would’ve asked me or told me what she was doing. We then needed an additional card to put a new security deposit on it. And long behold, after the weekend I come to find they charged me a different rate (more expensive) than from when I booked. She was rude and didn’t seem to care that I was upset by the situation.

Worst experience ever with hotel staff.

This place is very weird. We got to our room and the AC didn’t work properly. Then we realized there was no phone in our room (literally every hotel I’ve ever stayed in has a phone for the front desk). It looks like they tried to renovate in our room after something happened, and put this thing on the wall that has holes in it so the light from the bathroom shines right through it. The beds are uncomfortable and very old and noisy. The bathroom door doesn’t close properly and is damaged at the bottom, and the bathtub plug doesn’t even plug so you can’t have a bath. The sink doesn’t drain properly and is plugged with I’m assuming hair, and there’s also no blow dryer for your hair. Also just found out that the bathtub doesn’t drain properly either, and fills up fast with the drain open so you have to shower fast so the tub doesn’t overflow. Beginning to think the water is dirty as well, as every time we turn the sink on these dirt marks appear afterwards.

The entire place is just very outdated and definitely not 4 star worthy, and definitely not worthy of the $230 per night you have to pay. Find something else. The staff was nice after I went down a second time to tell them about this after they didn’t do anything the first time I went down to the front desk. Just don’t even bother, find somewhere else.

The hotel is a bit on the older side so keep that in mind. However the location is really great, and the staff seem to be trying really hard to make sure you have a good stay. The rooms are clean. Nice hotel. Great views of the lake. Unique location right on the water. Staff were great. The lobby drive up is under construction so you don’t get to see the mirrored ceiling and lights. Annoyingly the self parking was full when we got back later in the evening. Self parking garage doesn’t have an elevator so you can take stairs or walk with the traffic down the ramp. They refunded the $25 parking I already paid for but I had to drive to a lot about 400m away and pay $40. So in the end I had to pay $15 extra to not park on the hotel property. Would have been nice if they comped the off site parking price or at least the difference.

We had a smooth experience overall. The room was clean, check in was pretty standard, the pool and hot tub were nice and the breakfast was delicious. We didn’t have any special requests and we’re not ultra picky travelers (moderately picky perhaps) so I can’t speak for scenarios when there are special circumstances. We had a lovely stay. Oh, and the AC in the room actually worked and didn’t sound like a diesel train, woohoo:)

I probably should have read the reviews thoroughly prior to booking however I went based off of the photos and the price was fairly right! After reading the reviews I called to ensure that I’d be getting the same room feature in the photos and I was told that would be the case. Upon arriving for check-in the first red flag was not having my room ready. They then gave me the option of two other rooms, one was newly renovated but did not have the kitchenette I initially opted for so without checking the second room I decided to go with it. The room looked nothing like the photos. The only highlight of the room was the bedroom. The tub in the bathroom had a big chip in the bottom, I made sure to take pictures. The walls in the kitchen had sticky residue. The counters were old and had chips all over the finish as well. I was just not impressed. You have to pay additional for the wifi which they’re aware is very slow because they do offer a higher speed for yet another additional cost! I’ve stayed at my fair share of hotels and this is one I’d never recommend.

The AC keeps shutting down and makes the heat unbearable. The rooms and space is good. The suite i was in is almost like a one bedroom apartment. They keep balconies locked so u will suffocate half the time because no matter how many times u complain and however many times they send people over to check the ac will shutdown every hour or so

They need to put on their website no facilities are available and no ice due to Covid. We were looking forward to the pool and sauna after a long day as it’s listed on the website. They need to let people know all the things that are not available that are promised on their web site. Room was very nice and clean. No food or drinks available on-site either.

My wife and I stayed here for a few days while on business up in Toronto. Nice hotel. Had no issues with anything. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was helpful with anything we needed!
Great location to stay at. Right in downtown!!

Beautiful hotel, came to lobby for a brunch bite on labour day. Seating is very comfortable music is chill and relaxing, high ceiling makes the vibe.

Food was pretty good. Little bit of misunderstanding with how the food preference but was taken of right away, Great staff. Definitely a great way to spend the morning in an elegant setting if you’re looking for a change! Will come again once their restaurants open

I love the atmosphere here. The staffs are friendly. However, the food is not so good. Don’t expect to be amazing. The oysters are very fresh. The dry aged sliders are little on the dry side. Plating to me is acceptable. I prefer to come here for the Afternoon tea.

This is definitely one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at in the world. It oozes luxury. The hotel is stunning. The rooms are beautiful the bathrooms are insane, the pool area is super luxurious. But I think it’s the staff that really push it to the next level. Every single one is so friendly and ready to help with every need. I was blown away. 100% recommend
