Stayed for a night and everything was great. The reception ladies were super nice. The breakfast was prep in a paper bag and everything inside was good. And the price can’t be beat! The outside looked old but inside was nice and very clean. AC worked well and our family loved the wooden floor compared to carpet in other places. Will be back for sure.

Stayed here for a few days while travelling to Toronto. Decent location and all available amenities. A bit far from downtown but this was the location available that was pet friendly and part of Wyndham hotels. Room was generally clean. Front desk manager was friendly, helpful and professional. Would recommend this budget standard-fare hotel if you don’t mind the distance to downtown.

This swimming pool is a great place to spend your weekend in the cold winter or in the heat of summer. It’s a lot cleaner than most public pools, the price is reasonable and the lifeguards are friendly. Take your towels and if you are like me, a pair of poolside shoes/flip flops.
There is a large pool where mostly families play with their kids and adults play water volleyball or swim. There is also an on-deck sauna which is very popular. Showers and changing rooms get super crowded when swimming hours are over, so make sure you leave the pool 10 to 5 minutes earlier.

We were there today. It was a really nice decent sized pool. Not too crowded and lots of life guards. They were constantly counting around the kids pool to ensure it wouldn’t get too crowded. The water is pretty clean and the pool area is well maintained.
Upstairs theres an observation deck so those who aren’t swimming can overlook their families and kids.

I was placed here some time ago by my college campus to learn and gain experience, I sat around doing nothing for the most part and resorted to cleaning up the place after realizing such a mess it was. When I made mistakes, and I did make some big ones, they kicked me out with one of the excuses being “something with a glove.” Do not recomend anyone to volunteer or to participate in anything at this location.

This place is awesome. I grew up here as a kid, and recently came back to this library after over 15 years and it’s gotta be said . . The staff are SPOT ON! Super friendly and helpful.

Has a wide of selection of books in different languages. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially the couple running the small cafe. Upstairs floor is for quiet study and main floor is for children’s books and the cafe. During busier weeks, it is usually impossible to find a comfortable seat unless you come early in the morning.

I told the staff over the phone that I need to take passport photo from my three-month old baby, he told me that he could do that. Later, on the same day, I went to the store, waited for around half-an hour in line, explained to him that I am the guy who called you earlier and have brought my three-month baby for passport photo. He told me that he would do that as soon as he got free and recommended me to wait in my car until would call me in. After more than half-an-hour waiting in my car (parked right in front of the storefront on the same spot shown to him) I got back to the store and noticed that he is taking passport photos from other customers who never was there when I was in line !!! Don’t believe his words (a tall guy with middle eastern ethnicity) he easily ignores you!!

I have lived in RH for over 20 years and this is my Tim’s so it is beyond frustrating that I have had to endure Drive-Thru hell more than a few times.Why must I have repeat my order 3, 4 even 5 times? like how hard is understanding large dark roast and or large dark roast with cream? It’s not just my time being wasted and the people behind me but as a businessman wouldn’t you want your most competent fastest employees on the order desk? Time is money!

I wanted to purchase a 50th birthday gift for my friend. Having purchased items from this store in the past, I knew the would most likely have something wonder gift ideas! My heart dropped when I dropped by the store yesterday and it was locked…fortunately there was a note in the window starting they were still open for business online. So I went online and purchased a few items for my friend’s birthday. By early the next morning Suzanne (I’m assuming she’s the owner) emailed me to let me know she’ll be dropping off the gift at my home. Talk about service! Not only did Suzanne dropped off the items I purchased, she left me some precious gifts as well…all beautifully wrapped! So impressed by this 5 star treatment. I know the covid-19 pandemic has caused many small businesses please continue to purchase from this store so they don’t become one of the stats. They will definitely be my first stop for gifts for all my special occasion.

Amazing product selection and customer service. I was able to purchase a confirmation gift with ease on their ecommerce site and pick it up only a couple hours afterwards. It was the only store in my area that did confirmation themed gifts and through that I found that they offered a ton of gifts for all occasions. A great local gem!

I waited more than 3 hours in Emergency room after check in the hospital at 11 pm to see a doctor. When I asked an associate nurse around 2 AM to let me know if a doctor will show up, he said it is not clear and it is up to you to stay or leave the hospital. I truly can’t believe that he told me this. After 3.5 hours a doctor showed up but he only spent 1 minute for us and said that he is very busy and should take care of other patients. I noticed that there is only one doctor that night in the emergency room with lots of patients. I appreciate all efforts of the doctors, nurses and other staff but I think Mackenzie Health must have more than one doctor in the emergency department for night shifts and should improve quality of health care services.

Had to take my young child there because of a suspected fracture. I had no idea what to expect as we’d never been there before, but the entire process flowed so smoothly and quickly. All of our nurses/attendants were incredibly patient with my child, who was understandably very nervous and upset. We never had to wait more than a few minutes between being seen. I cannot stress how incredibly accommodating and kind everyone was with us.

There was only one doctor (who appeared to be in charge of reading the x-rays and diagnosing the damage) who was a bit cold and abrupt, but he just seemed very busy and focused. He didn’t mince words and told us immediately what needed to be done.

In particular, the attendant who was tasked with casting my child’s leg was amazing. Wish I remembered his name so I could give him a shout-out! He was everything I’d hoped we’d have in a nurse — kind, understanding, with a sense of humour. He was mindful of and responsive to my child’s anxiety, and never forced him to do anything he wasn’t comfortable with.

I wish we’d gotten more instruction on how to care for the leg after leaving, as I was left a little in the dark and had to google a few things to figure out. Otherwise, it was probably the best experience I could have asked for. So grateful for the speed and the kindness we were shown in what could have been a very messy and traumatic experience.

I have had the pleasure and privilege to have been a part of this wonderful school in many different capacities-including Registrar, Vice-Principal, and Gym Teacher, beginning in 1994 and only completing my tenure in the new year 2021. This long time frame and the varied roles, have given me a wide and thorough perspective of the dynamics of all areas of the school.

As such, I could share an unreasonably long post of positives, instead I want to focus on what has impacted me the strongest.

This is a school where individuals are treated with respect, care, appreciation, guidance and kindness-students, staff, parents- every member of the community. This is what will always stick with me.

All of the great qualities of the school-high level academics, the STEM program, the integration of technology, the overall balance of the program (strong in the arts and physical education) would be meaningless without the respect and care people are shown each day. It is a truly wonderful group of administration/educators who ensure that this special quality always remains constant.

When you walk in the doors you can feel the positive energy right away and when the wonderful children are immediately heard and seen politely and warmly giving such friendly greetings and of course the staff as well, you know that you’ve walked into somewhere special. I will miss this part the most.

I think back to talking with parents on the phone and answering the many questions and at the end of each conversation encouraging those families to simply come see for themselves. I knew that nothing positive I said would not also be seen when they came to visit or actually joined the community and this was exactly the same for staff, when I was involved in the hiring process-I knew when they became a member of the school they would see that all the positive descriptions were completely accurate.

I am happy that there is a venue like this one (reviews) to share in writing what has, for so many years, been in my heart and mind and always will be.

The public swim times are very convenient, and the lifeguard staff are very nice and courteous! They make sure everyone is following the rules, which makes me feel better about the safety of my little guy. Definitely recommend!

I take my child of 4 there for swimming lessons. The building is on the older side, especially when compared to the oak ridges centre. The staff here are pretty good. The swimming instructors seem patient and nice.

My family and I signed up back in April and had to cancel due to the lockdown which happened 2 days into our membership. for 6 months, I was chasing them down for my refund of $650 . 100 emails and interactions after, they delayed the payment and cancellation.

They also were harassing us for $80 for the two days we had attended the gym. (Which was not mentioned anywhere on the contract)

Nor only that, somehow 2 months after my credit card got charged $80 without my approval from fitness connection. Mike was so rude and unprofessional the entire time.

Go to movati or any other gym for that matter. stay away as they are a fraud and will scam you for every cent you have.

Taking skating lessons here. Wonderful program for adults and kids. I would argue that the kid’s program is far superior as they find creative ways to teach while keeping the focus on fun activities so the little ones don’t get too frustrated while learning.

My Bf and I stumbled upon this place to have my Samsung S10 screen fixed. The representative who assisted us was very helpful, patient and answered any questions we had. We ended up grabbing a few more things that day. The representative even went above and beyond by coming out of the store to our car to check out the issue with our dash cam.

Went today to get my phone back and saw the same representative again. He even suggested me to grab a screen protector and a case. Was even offered a discount for them! Forgot to ask for his name when writing this review aha. But yes, he’s just an employee but you can tell he’s very knowledgeable and a dedicated worker.

Excellent customer service and very friendly! A happy and satisfied customer here, would definitely be coming back again 😀

My instructor for both my G2 and G road test was Hamid. I passed both road tests on the first try with his help and teaching! He was an amazing teacher and really helped me learn how to drive well as well as prepared me well for both road tests. He was patient, and amazing in his instructions and gave me helpful corrections on how to improve my driving. He was especially great at teaching me how to drive on the highway as I had no experience and through his teaching I gained experience and became more comfortable and a better driver. If you take lessons at all star make sure to ask for Hamid!

They offer amazing service with great teachers, staff, and customer service. Anytime I needed assistance or information on something they would always get back to me right away. Hamid was my instructor and he is so nice, supportive, patient and he is very experienced and always makes sure you are correcting mistakes on the road. If you do not understand something, he will take the time to demonstrate it for you so you can feel more confident. He really helped to prepare me for the road test by giving me additional lessons to give me the best shot at passing the road test, which I did!. I had a great experience and would recommend this school to people I know.

I took driving lessons with Hamid after a friend recommended him to me. I had heard bad things about all star in the past but I was complete wrong! Hamid is an amazing driving instructor and made me feel confident when driving. He corrected any mistakes I made without making me feel bad about them and taught me important tips to know while driving. He also taught me everything I needed to know and helped me to ace my drivers test. He will come through before your drivers test and make sure you will do well! He’s also a funny and personable guy, I would 100% recommended taking lessons with him!
